Your first visit

When you visit the service for the first time, a friendly member of staff will greet you in reception and let your Recovery Worker know that you have arrived for your appointment.

If it makes you more comfortable, feel free to bring a friend, family member or support worker if you need them. It's advisable to let us know if you have any extra requirements prior to the appointment. Please be mindful that attendance at the service is by appointment-only.

Our support group

We have a REST support group that takes place every Thursday evening from 19:00 - 21:00. It's a small, friendly and welcoming group of people. It's held at Mind in Camden - the address is Barnes House, 9-15 Camden Road, London NW1 9LQ.

At the group, you'll be able to meet other people with similar experiences to yourself. It's an open group, but you will need to do an assessment first. It's a place to express your feelings, concerns, and discuss coping strategies. You'll feel encouraged and empowered, and make other people feel the same way. It's a safe space and confidentiality is important to us.

If you'd like to join or find out more about the group, please email Melanie: Melanie.Davis@cgl.org.uk or phone her on 07770965745.

"I am so grateful for your support at a time when I feel utterly alone with an empty corner, which I now feel someone is standing in to help me through. Thank you."
