Treatment service groups
Our Treatment service groups are for people who are either new to RESET or who are struggling with their substance use.

Monday
An unstructured group that offers support to any fathers who use our service. It is a safe space to seek support, discuss substance use challenges and relationships between father and child.
This group is held online via Teams and is by referral only. Please speak to your keyworker for more information.
Tuesday
This induction is for individuals who have been granted an ATR (alcohol treatment requirement) or DRR (drug rehabilitation requirement) and are required to attend and engage in the group until the end of their order. Once you have completed the induction session, you can attend the ongoing group.
This group is held at the Alma and is by referral only. Sign up at your induction or speak to your keyworker.
This group is for individuals who have been granted an ATR (alcohol treatment requirement) or DRR (drug rehabilitation requirement) and are required to attend and engage in this group until the end of their order. These sessions are designed to support you to reduce and stop offending and work on progressive and sustainable change. You must complete the induction session first.
This group is held at the Alma and is by referral only. Sign up at your induction or speak to your keyworker.
Wednesday
This space is for service users to share their thoughts on the service we offer and help us to develop what we offer with this in mind. It's also a chance to find out more about ways to get involved, e.g as a service user representative or a peer mentor.
This group is held at the Alma on the last Wednesday of every month and is a drop-in group available to all our service users.
Thursday
This space provides rapid access prescribing aimed at individuals who are new to accessing treatment or previously closed from the service. This space is not for individuals looking to restart their prescription. We provide quick access to opioid substitution therapy (OST) support, carry out quick blood tests to detect blood-borne viruses and issue naloxone when needed.
This group is held at our Johnson Street site and is a drop-in group that operates on a first come, first served basis.
Friday
This is a structured group for first-time mothers and mothers of children aged five and under. Sessions look at parental substance use, managing stress and relationships.
This group is held online via Teams and is by referral only. Speak to your keyworker for more information.
Acupuncture sessions run on a drop-in basis three days a week at RESET. It is a relaxation session using auricular (ear) acupuncture, known to aid with mental wellbeing and ease cravings in recovery.
This group is held at the Alma and is a drop-in group. Please note that this session is for women only.

Recovery service groups
Our Recovery service groups are for people already engaging with RESET who would like to attend group interventions, are not struggling with their substance use or are coming to the end of their recovery journey.

The Change group is an introductory group that looks at identifying your personal goals in recovery. An online group is available.
The Process group provides a safe space to share feelings, thoughts and emotions.
The Growth group is aimed at people who have started to make changes in their recovery. This is an 8-12 sessions programme and an online group is available.
SMART uses behavioural techniques to help change any behaviour individuals want support with. We also have an LGBTQ+ SMART group, all are welcome.
A weekly space, for service users to get some support and socialise with others with lived experiences.
Wellbeing Wednesday is a monthly event focused on improving different aspects of wellbeing to support your recovery.
Drop-in on a Wednesday between 12.00-13.00 to meet with our ETE worker for support and advice on the many education, training and employment opportunities.
This is a 4-week group which provides information & support to those working towards a detox and/or residential rehab treatment.
The abstinent group supports people who have been abstinent from drug and alcohol use for 30+ days (not including prescribed medications).
This group supports people with lower-level alcohol use to recognise potential harms of alcohol and look at prevention.
This group supports people who are looking to reduce or stop their cannabis use.
A 5-week group that explores better ways to manage cravings and high-risk situations & what recovery resources are available to you.

Kooxda Soomaaliga waxaa fududeeyay shaqaalaheena ku hadla afka Soomaaliga waxayna u furan yihiin macaamiil kasta oo afkooda koowaad yahay Soomaaliga.
12 step meetings run by local fellowships take place at the Alma 4 times a week.
A weekly drop in for people of any faith to explore the part this plays in their recovery.
Build on Belief (BOB) runs a drop-in service every Saturday and Sunday between 11am and 4pm. They also offer volunteering opportunities.
Women’s Morning runs every Friday 10.00-12.30pm and is a safe space for women to access support and advice. This is a drop-in for any RESET clients who identify as female.
M-PACT programmes run twice a year for families experiencing parental substance misuse with at least one child aged 8-17 years. This programme is referral only.
A four-week course that looks at building skills and knowledge on how to prepare low-cost, nutritious melas with limited equipment.
This is a drop-in group at the Alma for anyone new to our service to learn more about our groups. Can be delivered via telephone if preferred
An eight-session course to support people via meaningful therapeutic expression through art and creativity. This course is referral only.
This is a drop-in relaxation session using auricular (ear) acupuncture, to aid with mental wellbeing and ease cravings in recovery. Open to all service users but women only on Fridays.
